STAR
777 compound is a stiff, non - melting silicone material
primarily used as a value lubricant and sealant. STAR 777
compound will not carbonize at high temperatures, has a very
low vapour pressure and will neither melt nor harden on long
exposer to elevated temperatures. It is insoluble in water,
methanol, ethanol, glycol and glycerin, resistant to most
aqueous solutions of in organic salts and to dilute acids
and alkalis; it is unaffected - by most vegetable and
mineral oil, many organic compounds, and most common
greases. |

| USES
: |
|
Because
of chemical resistance long service life and temperature
stability, star 777 compound is used as a valve, o-ring and
plug valve lubricant. Since it does not oxidize, form gums,
or volatize, it is also an effective lubricant for control
valves, a sealant for vacuum and pressure system and a
chemical barrier coating. It is also an excellent lubricant
for rubbers and plastics and is used in devices which must
remain operational without maintenance over long period of
time, despite being subjected to wide variations in
temperature or humidity.
|
| ADVANTAGES
: |
|
STAR
777 compound prevents sticking of valves and O -ring at high
temperature or in freezing condition. It also acts as an
excellent sealer between rubber or plastic parts in contact
with metal in vacuum or pressure systems.

| FEATURES
: |
- Serviceability
from -40oC
to +200oC.
- Excellent
water and oil resistance.
- Low volatility.
- No
swelling effect on most rubber or plastic.
