ALFA AL - 57 grease is a non - melting silicone material primarily used as a lubricant and release agent. It is a white translucent soft compound having resistance to moisture and chemicals.

Ideal  release agent for rubber and plastic industry, it is also used as release agent of adhesives, foundry shell and core moulds. A single coating is adequate for several application. Excellent di-electric seal cum insulation of high voltage open cables and cable jointing in transformers. Prevents ionization, leakage and flashovers and its consequent damage, thus prevent maintenance shutdown.

Not affected by mineral oils, vegetable oils or air. Generally resistant to dilute acids and alkali and to most aqueous solution. It prevents ingress of moisture, dust in electrical systems in aircraft, ships, automobiles and instruments.
